Abstract : The main objective of this study is to find the important relation existing between the modern development in synthetic fashions in the modern age From the discussion and evaluation and analysis, the relation between the modern clothes and the synthetic fabrics appeared as follows : Synthetic fibre fabrics have contributed very much to the fashion. The results of this research have proved, through different applications, the validity of the general theore- tical principles which exhibited the importance of the developed technology used in synthetic fibres production. In addition it discusses the threads and their finishings and their effect on the development of dresses and the dressing concept of the modern age.
